Our Cross-Weave PP Straw Fabric replicates this look, with a knot density of 20–30 knots per square inch. Unlike natural bamboo, where knots can loosen over time, our knots are locked in place. A precise heat-setting step slightly melts the cross points, ensuring the knots remain stable.

Heat setting is critical. Too high a temperature makes the fabric stiff; too low, and knots loosen. We set our temperature at 140℃-10℃ lower than standard-but extend the time to 120 seconds, achieving locked knots while keeping the fabric soft. Nanping Jinwei operates 2 heat-setting machines, each capable of different settings. Minimum order is 500 meters, and color and knot density can be customized.
